Protecting Your Personal Information
We will not transfer your personal information to a third party for marketing purposes unless we have your consent.
Any personally identifiable data about our customers is stored securely.
We collect no personal information about children (under 13 years of age) without the express, positive consent of their parent or guardian.
You will not receive marketing e-mail from this organization unless you have consented to receive it. From time to time we may use e-mail as a way to keep in touch with our existing members, customers and other interested individuals. However, we do not send 'spam' (unsolicited marketing e-mail).
If you agree to receive e-mail communications from us, every e-mail message we send to you will include an e-mail address to which you can respond. If at any time you decide you do not want to receive marketing e-mail from us, simply let us know and we will remove your name and e-mail address from our marketing lists. We will do the same with your mailing address and telephone number, on request.

Our shopping cart places one and only one cookie on your browser when you click an "add to cart" button. Here is an example:
Sample of "cookie" we use |
| |
As you can see, the cookie expires when the session expires (when you quit your browser). (This image is taken from a MAC running internet explorer with high security settings and an alert for each cookie submitted.)
We do not use cookies on our site anywhere except for the purposes of maintaining a shopping cart. If you add nothing to a cart, we use NO cookies. We simply use one (and only one) to identify your cart. Here is an over-simplified explanation:
You want to add items to your cart, but so do many other people who may be shopping at the same time. In order to keep track of who's got what in their cart, we've got to indentify the shoppers...so...we'll call your cart "Bob". (Only instead of "Bob" we name it LC1038251031A498 ...in the example shown above.) Our server sends that bit of info to your browser and then each time you add an item to your cart, we know who's cart to stick it in because we can retrieve the data we gave you. Once you quit browsing (end the session) the cookie expires...nothing is saved.
